A little overview of a new project (probably poorly presented, since I’m freaking exhausted right now), crafts, and possibilities.
There WILL be a Writing Life post on Friday! I promise I’ll get better at this update thing. For the last 2 months, I’ve been working six days a week, then I got sick and injured last week. I just can’t seem to budget my time well, but I’m trying to improve. <3 I hope you all still love me.

I’ve mentioned Dave to you lot before, if you remember. I posted about his tour dates and Kickstarter. The man is multitalented, what can I say? And now? He’s venturing into the world of web design. Salut! I’m here for advice this time around instead of being the one to give it. It’s a nice change of pace when I’m not pretending I know absolutely everything, right? I feel like maybe this will make me more personable. =P
No, but seriously. G&L’s 2 year anniversary is coming up on April 22, and I want to put this out in ample time. What do you think G&L should do for its 2 year anniversary? I’m a little torn and kind of frazzled about the whole ordeal.
So, tell me, what should I do to celebrate? The three best responses will be put into a poll on Febuary 14 (yeah, yeah, Valentine’s Day, I know. But because I’m a barren old spinster, I’m not observing it) and everyone will be able to take a vote.
So, then, what should G&L do to celebrate two great years on the web? Don’t be shy! I love suggestions!

As promised, I’ve come back to you! A new year, a new set of goals for Goggles & Lace, ladies and gents. So, here’s the plan:
Beyond G&L, I’ve taken on Milwordy, the challenge to write a million words in a year. Anything productive counts, so expect to see a bit more from me here. =] If this can’t make me more productive, I’m at a loss for what might.
In any case, it’s great to be back! I’ve missed you all, and I’m looking forward to getting back into commenting on all of your blogs as well!

Two posts in one day, I know, I’m flooding you guys!
This is important, though, and it concerns you all, my amazing awesome readers. <3 I have a project in the works in my head, and I need your input. I’m going to be trying a spiffy self-pubbing venture and I need to know what you think. Should I edit and revamp LfBH and put that in print, or do you want to see a completely new piece of fiction from me?
I’ll be using IndieGoGo to raise funds to have the project completed and given decent cover art. This is your chance to see LfBH in hard copy (or something else if you’ve all had enough of LfBH!)

I know, I know, I’m awful this month. Camp NaNoWriMo has completely consumed my soul. Though, I have to say, it’s coming into the end of week 2, and I’m still hopelessly in love with my story. <3
Good news, though! Next Wednesday, G&L is hosting a bitchin’ guest post by Jessi from A BA in BA! And it’s going to be spiffy. Writing Life is happy to have her, so get psyched, people!

Okay, so a quick, belated “Happy Independence Day” to my American readers. <3 Explosives and excessive amounts of alcohol are the American way.
A brief update on the e-book. Calibre and I are not getting along. I’m reformatting everything, and making it into a PDF with Scrivener. Is that okay with everyone? Does anyone need a different format? I’ll do my best to accommodate, but you HAVE to let me know what you need. I’m not psychic (though that would be pretty freakin’ cool).
AND WHAT IS THIS CASEY ANTHONY GARBAGE!? I am so seething mad, I can’t even tell you…. So, a neglectful, soulless, lying bitch goes free and an innocent little girl gets no justice. I’m so disgusted with the verdict of this trial, it’s maddening. She may get four years with possible time served for lying to investigators. What the hell do they think she lied for?
I’m not going to go on a rant here. I just needed to vent a little of my anger.

Salut, kids! I know today is LfBH day, but I’ve been a bit busy. Camp NaNoWriMo starts in three days, and I’ve been working hard on my project. It’s currently untitled, but it’s going to be big, much bigger than I’ve written in the past. In fact, it might even take up the entire two months of Camp NaNoWriMo. 1. The comics always made Magneto seem like a melodramatic putz to me, but this movie honestly made me very sympathetic to his character and his cause.
2. Moira MacTaggert as an American CIA agent? No, thank you.
3. James McAvoy did a much better job with the character of Charles Xavier than I was expecting.
4. As with all comic book movies I’ve seen, they glossed over the storyline. The friendship between Xavier and Lensherr wasn’t nearly as emphasized as it should have been.
5. Ohohomygod Beast was adorable. Like… a big blue stuffed animal… that will eat your face if you insult its fur. Check plus.
